DO YOU TRAVEL?
My packages include travel within roughly a 30 mile of radius of Wolverhampton so that's Birmingham, Kidderminster, and Shrewsbury.
I do cover weddings outside these areas but travelling and accommodation expenses may be added to the package price depending on distance. If you getting married outside of my normal areas and would like a quotation please do get in touch.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. This is really important – whatever photographer you choose to use – make sure they are fully insured.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I’ve recently upgraded all my equipment and now shoot on lovely Canon and Nikon Mirrorless cameras. On a wedding day I photograph with two camera bodies on me as well as having a spare back up camera, a range of lenses and flashes as well as some other gadgets and gizmos. I always carry back up equipment with us to ensure I can carry on shooting even if something goes wrong.
ARE ALL THE IMAGES EDITED?
After the wedding date I go through all the images I have taken to choose the keepers. The final selection of images you receive are all edited and polished to my high standards. This includes cropping, exposure, sharpening and colour correcting. Then the images receive my final ‘artistic edit’. I do not as standard heavily airbrush or manipulate images in photoshop unless there is something specific that you want. The majority of the images will be presented in colour and black and white.
DO YOU OFFER BESPOKE PACKAGES?
I certainly do. I can offer shorter coverage, longer coverage or multi day packages depending on dates and availability. Just get in touch with some more information and I’ll send you a bespoke quotation.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE WE BOOK?
Yes absolutely. I always like to meet you guys, usually at the venue so we can chat through all sorts of stuff like your dress, the shots you want and the critical timings of prep, arrival, ceremony, formals reception etc etc.
DO YOU INCLUDE A PRE-WEDDING SESSION?
You can add an engagement session to any of my wedding packages or even book one completely separately.
WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?
Once you’ve decided you’d like me for your wedding there’s an online contract to read and sign, a booking form and a non -refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your date. Once your deposit and booking form is back with me I’ll confirm the date is all yours. Then I’ll be back in touch about 2 weeks before the wedding to run through all the final details.
WHAT IF YOU’RE ILL?
I promise I will try very hard not to be ill on or before your wedding day but sometimes these things are out of our control. Thankfully it hasn’t happened yet. You have my assurances that only something very serious would keep me away from your wedding but in such an event I have a wonderful network of talented photographer friends who I can call upon in an emergency.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
I don’t limit the number of images you receive. A low estimate is 400 images for a full day wedding. It is often much higher than this depending on what is happening on the day.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
I know the wedding excitement is real! So within a few short days of your wedding I’ll be sending you a little sneak peek of around 25 images. Within 3 – 4 weeks of your wedding your full set of images will be ready to view and download from your personal online gallery.
HOW DO I GET MY IMAGES?
I deliver your final set of images through a private online gallery and send you a USB with then all on. You have the option of sharing the gallery link with whoever you wish. You (and whoever you share the gallery with) has unlimited access to the images, unlimited rights to download and reproduce for personal usage and the ability to purchase prints through the gallery. I guarantee that the gallery will be live for a minimum of 12 months after you receive it and I’ll offer you lots of tips about how to download and store your images safely.
